Terms of Service
These terms describe how Oleda (oleda.app) works today and what we each expect from the other. Using Oleda means you accept them.
What Oleda provides
Oleda checks a public website and reports on things that matter when an app becomes a business: whether the site loads securely, whether it runs on its own domain, whether a contact page, privacy policy and terms exist, whether it has a site icon, and what public email address it presents. It then scores the result out of 100.
Oleda also offers professional email: a mailbox on your own domain, set up and managed through Oleda. Further paid services may be added over time and will be described when they launch.
Free checks and accounts
Website checks can be run without an account. Creating an account lets you save checks and manage services. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.
Professional email and payment
Prices shown for professional email are indicative until checkout exists. Billing is not yet enabled in the product, so no charges are made today. When paid subscriptions go live, the price, billing period, renewal behaviour, cancellation window and refund rules will be stated at the point of purchase and added here.
Owner review needed: pricing commitments, billing cycle, cancellation and refund policy are not yet decided and must be written here before payments are taken.
Acceptable use
Check websites you own or have a legitimate reason to review. Do not use Oleda to attack, overload, scrape at scale, or probe systems you have no right to inspect. Do not use Oleda mailboxes to send spam, phishing, malware or unlawful content, and do not resell the service without our agreement.
Intellectual property
Oleda, its name, design, scoring approach and software remain ours. Your website content and the reports about your own site remain yours; you may share and reuse your reports freely.
Accuracy and disclaimers
Oleda's checks are automated. They read a public page from our servers and draw reasonable conclusions, but they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and a result marked unknown means exactly that. A score is guidance, not a legal, security or compliance certification. Decisions you make based on a report are your own.
Availability
We aim to keep Oleda available and working, but the service is provided as-is, without any uptime guarantee. Parts of Oleda depend on third-party infrastructure, including our email infrastructure partner, and can be interrupted by them. We may change, suspend or withdraw features.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, abuses the service, or puts our infrastructure or other users at risk. You can stop using Oleda and ask for your account to be deleted at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Oleda is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data or lost business arising from use of the service or from reliance on an automated check. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and disputes
Owner review needed: Oleda's legal entity, country of establishment, governing law and dispute-resolution venue have not been confirmed, so they are deliberately not stated here rather than invented. They must be filled in by the owner.
A note on this page
These terms were written to reflect how Oleda actually works. They are not legal advice and publishing them does not by itself make Oleda legally compliant. The flagged items need the owner's decision, ideally reviewed by a lawyer.
